Nautical Management

The department Nautical Management:

reports to the Division on:

• the organisation, coordination an monitoring of the traffic in the Scheldt area;
• registration, coordination, and feedback after an incident or in case of emergency;
• advise, information and data exchange to and between the different players in the chain approach;

The different players are: Flemish and Dutch Pilotage, agencies, traffic centres and VTS authorities, Shipping Inspection, the ports…
